Childlike scribblings, raw digital lines, and vibrant splatters of non-painting colour colliding with high-fashion intensity. For this experimental series with the wonderful Marina, I sampled tones directly from her skin, her makeup, and those incredible 8-pairs-for-4-euros Shein glasses to draw directly onto the digital canvas.

Going into the session, I didn’t know exactly what she could do—but I certainly do now, and it is a lot! Her range, dramatic intensity, and absolute versatility turned this shoot into a series of living visual poems. From deep film-noir shadows to bold, graphic pop-art energy, she brings an incredible presence to the lens.

Para esta serie experimental con la maravillosa Marina, tomé muestras de tonos directamente de su piel, de su maquillaje y de esas increíbles gafas de Shein de 8 pares por 4 euros para dibujar directamente sobre el lienzo digital.

Al comenzar la sesión, no sabía exactamente de qué era capaz, ¡pero ahora lo sé perfectamente y es muchísimo! Su registro, su intensidad dramática y su absoluta versatilidad convirtieron este shooting en una serie de poemas visuales vivos. Desde las profundas sombras del film noir hasta la energía audaz y gráfica del pop-art, Marina aporta una presencia increíble ante el objetivo.
